Make sure you can vote on May 7th

It’s the most important election in decades – but are you sure you’re going to be able to take part?

To be able to vote, you need to be on the Electoral Register. Are you?

In the old days, one person from each household would manage the process for everyone. That has now changed, and it’s up to each individual to make sure they are on the register and that their details are correct.

You have until the end of Monday to sort it out if you want to take part in this election, and it’s ridiculously easy to do.

If you live in England, Scotland or Wales, register online at gov.uk/register-to-vote.

If you live in Northern Ireland, download a registration form here.

Remember, if you haven’t put your name on the Electoral Register, you won’t be allowed to vote on the day.
